I'll try to remember to get a photo this summer, but I have 2 clems on an espalier apple tree that is only 5 feet tall, with 3 varieties grafted on. I try to get the clems to follow the horizontal lines. We had a late freeze last year so I had no apples, but the clematis bloomed off and on all summer.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
