Please, did your doctor do liver tests?
I ask because the prescriptions you were given while lowering your bad cholesterol can cause liver damage - hardly worth the tradeoff.
Please look into natural cholesterol lowering alternatives like psyllium, garlic, niacin/B3, apple pectin, almonds, walnuts, green tea, etc.
