Hi all. I'm new to gardening and would like some info on what to do to care for artichokes. I ordered some plants that are old enough they are supposed to produce this year. I would like some info on how to plant them. How deep the hole should be, what to put in it, what pests to beware of (got that on rabbits), soil ph. I have sandy soil here in zone 8a, with few nutrients except what I add. EXCEPT for an abundance of phosphorus according to my soil sample. I will receive them in April, so I'm trying to give them the best care I can.

Thanks all
