I have never grown Helebores before, but I bought four on clearance last fall.
So far, they all survived the winter and look rather puny like first-year perennials usually do. The white one started blooming first--it's pretty tatty looking and I was really taking pictures of the bees. Super cute bee face in the second one.
This reddish one is just starting...and the other two are still just leaves...
