Bev I hope you get that all sorted out...do you know if its root or stem mealy bugs? I've heard root mealy bugs are harder to get rid of. Hope its the other kind...I never have bad outbreaks of mealy bugs but every now and then I have them on my tender succulents, and I just use full strength rubbing alcohol, the highest percent you can find (70% or something) spray them one time per day for a week or so and this seems to work for me. I've never had to do that for semps though...I didn't realize they could be a problem with semps
