thanks for the idea hanesh. I have contacted my local vocational school several times about someone coming to help. Even tried the boy scouts. Recently, a woman was let go from a local nursery, where she worked for over 20 years due to the economy. She has been caring for my beds since then... a few months now. She is reasonable, and knows as much or more than I do. so that helps.
I tend to give plants away to anyone here who will dig them, divide a piece off for me, and replant it. Helps me, helps them.
I like French Lingerie. Looks like it would mix well with one of my seedlings. I will have to look it up.
