Having spring-regret here ... just wait y'all ... suddenly everything is Bursting with growth - weeds, huge shrubbery, trees grabbing the neighbor's roof, more weeds, and already three full lawn mowings. I'd forgotten how much it can be a pain to get back up off the couch and out into a garden that threatens to quickly run amok despite my valiant but weak attempts at harnessing it with gardening tools.

dare I say it ... I wouldn't mind a burst of snow and winter hibernation right about now ... I'm used to seven months of winter (Minnesota childhood), not just three short ones!
