LOL, I think the lotuses the "Lotus eaters" ate put them into a dreamy drugged stupor... pretty sure mine aren't that kind of lotus?

Yeah, I figure if it's worth the trouble of peeling fresh lychee, ditto for fresh water chestnuts. We do have a new asian grocery here... Maybe I can luck into a sprouted one in the bin...
