Welcome to ATP jeanneh you may want to post your message about your iris to the iris forum this is the daylily forum. Sounds to me like your iris will grow just fine since you can see growth I am not sure where you live or what type of iris you are growing. That said iris can be pretty tough and easily grown at least the ones that I grow certainly fall in that category.
