Hi Bonnie, I've never ordered iris on the internet before. I always bought them locally from various nurseries where I used to live. Never bought any from Walmart, or a big box store. Just small places, and they couldn't actually fix the problem, since they no longer trusted the tags on the plants. But, they gave me a free plant of my choice in exchange, and didn't want the iris back. So, I really didn't lose any money. I just ended up with something that got moved to a friends house because the color was totally wrong, or it stayed in my yard because it was pretty, even if it wasn't what I was wanting to begin with. I'm not an iris hybridizer, and really don't care about the name, or if they are registered or not. A pretty face works well for me, so old is just fine!
