My cornish-rocks were 7# dressed. Some were starting to have leg problems. It is amazing how quickly they grow. A good friend raised some at the same time and helped us dress ours for the freezer. He had the equipment and experience. I am probably heartless but I don't have a problem killing a chicken if I think there is a good reason. Here are some mediocre pictures.
