I'm in the Seattle area. About 15 miles as the crow flies from the Landslide. We had a mild winter with the exception of a week or two of winter weather. Mild and very WET. We went so long without rain most of the winter into January and February. Has rained all the time in March. We are .30 behind the wettest March of all time, since rainfall was recorded. All the Cherry trees are flowering or have flowered. Daffodils are in full bloom, everything is green and looking quite bushy after a bone meal feeding. I see some scapes on some of my daylilys Hurray!
A True gardener will purchase a thousand plants before thinking of where to put them :P
