Okay, I finally figured out how to find the Parent Plant ID!
It's not actually visible when using an iPad.
I eventually thought to give it a try on my laptop and was able to finally see it.
The address bar works differently on an iPad than on a laptop or desktop Mac, and all that shows in the address bar is " allthingsplants.com", while on a laptop or desktop, you see "allthingsplants.com/plants/view/232967/Coral-Bells/" (with the part from the first backslash onward greyed out).
