There's some question about the correct spelling. Catalog of Life spells it Duvernoya and The Plant List spells it Duvernoia. In both cases, however, all but one of the species have been reclassified as synonyms for Justicia species. The only exception I could find is Duvernoya pumila, which is a synonym for Dicliptera pumila. I found no accepted species names for Duvernoia or Duvernoya in any taxonomic database.
