I totally agree about spelling and entering correct info to begin with. Machines are not more intelligent than humans.

I am not justifying anything, but many things are misspelled on the web, and if cut and pasted , transfer that error. I always try to find at least sources for the same term before mentioning it. But one must consider the sources.

My preferred sources are USDA,, wildflower.org, floridata. I find RHS difficult to access. But no database is totally infallible, including ATP nor ATP's elder sibling.

And I am no more correct than anyone else, we all have a variety of useful knowledge and wisdom,
which IMHO, can be shared for the benefit if all. NO ONE should be made to feel inferior. Intelligent people know that curiosity is a good thing and should be encouraged.

If anyone has been patient enough to read this through to the end, I will reveal this, not for pity, but perhaps understanding: I am legally blind.
I can spell perfectly well, but sometimes things look correct but aren't. I try my hardest to make sure not to make errors, but stuff happens !

If anyone opines that I don't belong here, just say so.
I can continue to contribute elsewhere.

Count your blessings, I pray you never have to be challenged. It is a major pain. But I am blessed in infinite ways. I bid you peace and joy.
At our ranchiito we do NOT keep bees.
They and other critters grace us with their presence, and we provide for their need to the best of our abilities.
