We got wet mushy gooshy wet stuff! 4-5" and still coming down!! This will REALLY help wake up my yard! I found, when I moved the last of the mulch last night, that one of my itty-bitty forsythias was in bloom, but I think that particular plant is retarded or something. Not it's fault.. I accidentally chopped it down to the ground a few years ago when I was weedwacking.. *Blush* My bigger forsythia still isn't in bloom yet, nor have I seen any of the others in the neighborhood in bloom yet, and that's what I wait for.

Cindi - Can't use a tractor to move the mulch.. the roses are way too close together. I don't have a large plot like you do.. just a little city lot, so had to move everything using two of these: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ster... But it's OK, I'm fat & I need the exercise! LOLL!!! I'm just plopping this on top of the old mulch as most of it has either decomposed or blown away.. mostly decomposed. Some areas have decomposed 100%, others have less than an inch left, so it was time.
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
