The bleeding hearts, trillium and drifts of bellrina primrose are gracing the woodland area. The azalea and pear tree are in full bloom. A few of the newly (last fall) Von Dion Daffs are still blooming.

Am wrestling with starting a Hugelkultur where the filbert trees were prior to last fall.

Have plenty of oversized filbert logs that need a resting spot. It will also help with some terracing I hope to accomplish. Maybe the green bin won't be so over filled for a short while. Once I have a good base I will corral the bottom with some landscaping bricks of some sort and top it off with mulch. Still a lot to do before that happens though.
