Maybe I will try again one day. I sound like I've tried, tried, and failed again, but I've honestly haven't grown one. I ordered a couple online and one arrived dead, the other died with a few days. The seller refused to refund my money or exchange for new plants. For having been in business for so long, their plants arrived damaged/dead and they weren't very polite to say the least.
I have read too many "horror stories" about watering them at the incorrect times of the year (only to kill them) and I think that makes me not want to try lol. I'm one of those "oh, you look dry" and I want to water. I should get something that slaps my hand if I try to water a Lithops at the wrong time of year.
Thank you for the information, maybe I will muster the willingness to try again one day.
