It's still early here but from what I've seen so far I've only lost seedlings (and very few at that ) that were in a raised bed. Even a large number of the seedlings right along the edge of the beds seem ok. We had the same extreme cold many of you did but where I live we are fortunate to have heavy snowfall (average 4.5 ft. this year) which is the best insulating blanket a garden can have. I'm very lucky with the daylilies but all the water runoff will probably rot a lot of my lilies this year.
