fixpix: I think your peony made up for those years it hadn't bloomed. Beautiful shape to those flowers. And the church garden peonies are sensational. I wonder how old they are.
soilsandup: There were so few pics of Morning Lilac when I bought it. However, the vendor had an older one photographed and it was gorgeous. One pic had won me over.
The red part beneath the leaves is a child deck chair. The tree flopped over today! I'll have to stake it. This one is my Shima.
This is my High Noon:
My tree peonies have finally filled out. I was worried in the beginning. Some I had bought were of a decent size, and this year weren't growing as well. Now I see, I just had to give them time. High Noon is at least as big as last year, so I'm relieved. The buds on all of them have been huge since they first started to develop - they are teasing me!
