Rita same here. It's pouring!!!! I added all my amendments to the soil over the past two weeks, Bone Meal, Coffee Grinds, Blood Meal, and a large layer of my Black Gold (compost)....The rain is doing nicely to settle it all in. I won't fertilize with fish fertilizer or compost tea till the plants are established. My peas and radishes growing in buckets are up!
You know you are a dedicated veggie gardener when your standing outside in the pouring rain dumping a large bag of veggie scraps from work and stealing your neighbors leaf bags(who don't use chemicals on there lawn or yard) so you can cover it.
