Xeramtheum,

(Quick funny story...I typed your name in on my Kindle and the suggested word came up crematorium!)

I tried to correct seeds from Plum Crazy for someone else and they weren't good. Is there such a thing as sterile hibiscus? I'm going to try cuttings this spring, but will have to ask for tips! If it works, you're welcome to a start.
