Thanks, I really do appreciate all the trouble you have gone through. Yes, I agree it is really thorny, but it is 20 years old. I can tell the thorns on my plant are still developing, but I don't know if it would ever develop that many thorns, or if they just get larger with age.
My leaves look darker and broader to me, and I don't remember seeing that color of new foliage on my plant, I looked back though the pics I took and all I see is green! We'll see how your bloom develops.
