Other than hail and rain, we've been spared the freezes and other bad weather that has affected central Texas the last couple of months. Spring started for us a couple of weeks ago. We took the big hoop house down, and I was surprised how well everything looked. The heat that built up in there each time we had unseasonably warm days (80s), caused the tropicals to grow. Some of the leaves were damaged because they touched the plastic when they were enjoying the heat. I may have lost a few ferns and brugs, but it's still too early to tell. Unfortunately, my backyard looks like a pot burial ground. Pots are everywhere!
I believe I'll be buying tomatoes again this spring! I just haven't had incentive to work a bed for them. Still in 4" pots and growing!
