Nope, it's an English corruption. The British pronunciation is FEW-sha, same as the American, according to various sources, including the Cambridge Dictionaries Online:

It may be Fooks as in Looks in Germany, but in Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe, it's Foo as in Foo Fighters.
