I'm in Houston, too! SE, Hwy 288, near Hobby Airport. Zone 9a. We're practically relatives, LOL!
So, what do you grow?
I'm grow raised bed veggies, and am trying to muster up enough courage to take up all the grass in my back yard and turn it into a dedicated veggie farm, LOL!
I have ENOUGH grass on the front lawn to satisfy most of my immediate neighbors and those in the next subdivision, too!
I just love when I run into a Houston gardener here!
