dont leave in box empty onto outside table spread out give a day then plant out
i just looked up greenwood village 10 day weather, it does not look like you will be getting below 30 many more times this year, i would just lay them on top of the soil and top with sand or gravel to keep them in place. they dont mind cold example being

Sedum (Petrosedum rupestre subsp. rupestre 'Angelina')

i sent you 2 types of this plant, i think, and they are hardy down to - 40 f ...
The coldest temperature ever recorded in Denver is -29 degrees ( according to internet Rolling my eyes. ) so you should be fine right now
