hey all you happy glove buyers... do any of you Lovey dubby PECANS?

Sandy has another thread in this forum that I didn't want people to miss... she has loads of lovely papershell pecans, and she's selling them at a bargain price. I used to get them in season at roadside stands in GA, and I bet they now sell for about the same cost including flat rate shipping, so for those of us who don't live in the deep south... Smiling

Wondering what "papershell" means? Oh, you're in for a treat. We don't get these nuts around here... the shell on these pecans is so thin that you can crack them by squeezing 2 together in your hand. If your hands are reasonably strong, you can crack most of them singly, too, but it's more fun to have pecan wars, contests where you see which pecan is the strongest and lasts longest cracking its opponents.

Maybe it's partly the satisfaction of cracking them yourself, but nuts in the shell are always the sweetest, and these certainly are delicious! Thanks, Sandy!
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
