In south Florida for some years now, the non-native curly tailed lizards have all but taken over. It is yet unclear if they are actually eating the green or brown anoles but I can attest that the green anoles which used to be so prevalent have all but disappeared. Here is the curly tailed & they are uncommonly large compared to our little anoles.
