If you keep an ATP list of your plants, you can now limit your searches by characteristics to the plants in your list. I originally wanted something like this when I was thinking of creating a moon garden somewhere on my property and wanted to know how many of my existing plants had white blooms.
It's really handy for keeping track of my roses too. I now know that I have 82 Ralph Moore roses and 77 Austins.
It's really a great tool if you want to find the thornless roses on your list or the mauve and mauve blends, etc. Just go to the main page of the rose database, click on "Search by characteristics," and then enter your search requirements, including the box at the very bottom: "Only show plants that are in my personal Plant Lists."
If you haven't compiled a personal plant list yet, I urge you to do so. It will be useful to you and to others. People considering certain plants will be able to judge their zone-worthiness and other features by reading the names of the members who currently grow those plants.
