Yes, I need a warm day or the blooms do not open all the way. I have had several that bloomed on a cloudy day and they just did not open fully. My bearded Irises and Lilies has no problem, but my Roses and Day Lilies need the heat. I cheat by having my Day Lilies in containers. (Moving them around to get the sun) Here is SPC Hot Topic again in different photos today.....
