I think I'll just rely on the Tropicana and see what happens with the other....sounds like Stuttgart has an inbred genetic deficiency then and who needs that...kind of like the modern rose that's been bred for size but lost it's scent along the way to "perfection"...it may also be that this plant isn't strong enough for the shorter northern season and is more adapted to the southern heat and humidity.
