Someone in France made this yummy dish for us:
Split a large tomato in half,
salt and pepper to taste
Smear a little minced garlic on the cut halves
Fry uncovered on skin side in olive oil about 10 minutes
Flip over, fry about 10 minutes
Tomato should be soft, but not mushy
Serve in bowl with some of the warm olive oil and fresh bread.
