Here are my links for my pictures today. I am too poofed to do anything more than that I was out and sprayed all my daylilies for thrips. And I sprayed not only the buds but made sure I got it really dripping into the folliage too. Second spraying as I sprayed two weeks ago but much more lightly basicly just trying to get the buds.

Last year the Thrips were really bad so I sprayed twice but only started after I realised I had all these messed up blooms. This year I wasn't going to have that if I could help it and sprayed just before things started opening. That really worked as I don't have all the splotchness I had last year. Still had some and the treatment is supposed to be repeated in two weeks so that is what I did. This should take care of it.

Really most of my daylilies are always fine and not bothered by thrips. But I decided I didn't need any of the usual thrip damage this year at all.

I don''t move my pictures in photobucket or deleate them which is what makes for broken links so my picture posts stay in gardenweb until they get so old they fall off the last page at the end. But that takes a long time.

Betty, I have two major beds blooming well, the plateau and the snapdragon garden daylily bed. The Slope is doing next best. That and the driveway side should be in full bloom by another week or so.

I also have lots of late and very late bloomer sections that do really extend my daylily season for me. I used to be out of bloom by early August. That no longer happens because of all the late bloomers here now.
