Just to rock the boat,

I use lavender scented Epsom salts sometimes if I run out of the cheap plain stuff. On my plants that is.

Haven't seen any problems. I figure the lavender might be somewhat bug repellent which never hurts here in FL.I've sprayed it on brugs and orchids as well as my EEs, Tiny amount of essential oil gives a lot of perfume.
