Good morning-

Its finally becoming consistently warmer here in NY, minus the rain, but I've been thinking next weekend is when I will till my garden and get it going.

For those of you who use landscaping fabric, how do you direct sew into the ground once you cover it with fabric? Do you cut it and then fold back the edges?

Second question - I was leaning more towards the straw method this year. I was going to lay down wet newspaper and then cover with straw instead of the fabric. But again, same question, how the heck do you directly seed into the ground, when essentially I've got it covered and mulched?

How do you pros do this? Thanks, Josh
