Yesterday my favorite rose Gloria Dei open up her first flower. It is a rose that I already know from my childhood. When I got myself this sort 3 years ago in my garden and I then smelled again, I felt like I was in my childhood.
So today I was looking the dataset on ATP and found the name "Peace".
After some searching on the internet I found a very interesting history of the rose and the many names. This variety was from 1945 - 1955 sold approximately 3,000,000.
