Try some cucumbers. But I don't know if Squash Vine Borer attack or not the cucumber or attack by other pests Confused
Will be good to have some shadow, a lot of water (watering everyday), rich soil (manure) and led up on a support.
If start to produce, harvest every time when are good to eat. If you let the fruit on plant it will stop to produce new fruits.
Seed directly in soil.
