Maintenance of Perennial Beds.
Not at all, Susan.
They do seed a bit, but normally not aggressively at all (at least here).
The problem with the seedlings, as said, is if you have more than one type, the seedlings may well be hybrids.
The bees love lungworts.

Below: today.
Other things being equal (viz location) Pulmonaria rubra starts to bloom before any of our other lungworts.
I've found the species, in a moist location, is the only excessive seeder of our lungworts.
'Redstart'.



Primulas in sunny locations are beginning to bloom.
Think primulas are my favourite spring flower.
