Well, after weeks of keeping me in suspense, my B.David Sander X Rhyncholaelia Digbyana has flowers! It's just a bit of an anti-climax as they look like large versions of Richard Mueller. Pale delicate yellow and quite plain. I really was hoping for the fringed lip of the Digbyana. Just a very slight fragrance so far, too.

Bl. Anduril 'Krull-Smith' is in full flower, I am so glad not to have missed it entirely. These blooms are not quite this bright a red, the camera has enhanced it. More of a soft "peony" red, just the color of the prom dress I am sewing for my neighbor's daughter.
