I seen this at my local nursery and I have never heard of it before. It said fast growth on the tag. Does anyone know if it has very invasive roots? I am looking for shade tree I can plant near an area I plant to turn into a shade garden some day and want to plant hostas and such. It will be about 20 ft or so from the foundation of my house. I had a silver maple once on another property as well as an elm tree, and they met their fates with a chainsaw because the roots were incredibly invasive.
