I knew it would. If there was ever an almost "perfect" houseplant, it is the "narrow-leaf" ficus. The pity is that practically no one knows it even exists. The commercial growers have little interest in it since it is such a slow grower. And if the commercial growers don't have it, the big-box stores won't either. What makes it un-inviting for the growers makes it an "inviting" plant for the home.
