The putting it in the oven was a last resort actually, I thought the house might not be warm enough for them to sprout. The oven is not on. It is just warm because of the pilot light. We keep the beans we sprout (to cook, not for seedlings) in the oven like that so I thought might as well try it on the marigolds.
