My local nursery just got in a new Sedum "Reflexum" looks like a miniature version of Blue Spruce but keeps some pink all year and gets red in the fall.It does seem to be fragile tho the smaller tips break rather easily but i guess it will spread faster that way.
Supposed to be hardy in zones 3 to 9 and takes full sun to partial shade. I put a clump between 2 different Variegated Semps in a deep oval planter. See how that looks when it starts to turn red.
