I wonder where I could post my Bromeliad photos from the rainforest which is very rich in Bromeliaceae.
Most of them will be near to impossible to identify, maybe the ones which were blooming, but as they usually grow so high up in the forest canopy, taking details of flowers was impossible, many were not blooming, often they grow in dense communities of different species on the same branch.

Many of them I think are Neoregelia sp. But the area where I was, has 56 !!!!sps of that genus alone! Very often photo material cannot be found on the web, it is frustrating.

Do you think a parent page for Bromeliaceae is a good idea?
