I have a few real nice stems this year. It's hard to get perspective but trust me they are thick.

The first pic is my stand of L. sargentiae. A lot of small guys with 2 nice ones.

Second pic is some thick Lankon stems. The one on the right should go over 5 ft with 7+ blooms I'm hoping.

Third pic is a really girthy Scheherazade. This thing has one of the thickest stems I've ever seen and the leaves are huge, probably 9 inches plus! I'm guessing it will go over 7 feet this year. I'm glad Judith Freeman threw it in on my first lily catalog order a few years ago. It is a great performer in the garden!
