I lived in CA in the 80s and 90s and I remember when garlic had FLAVOR.
"Christopher Ranch" garlic is what I used to buy in the jars after I moved out of the city (SF) to the mountains.
I regret I never made it to the garlic festival!
Would certainly have tried the ice cream.
