Melissa,I did buy them by the thousands for a couple of years.Now they produce enough to keep the supply going.Last year was a good seed year thanks to Wilfred.His method works.If anyone is interested in purchasing seed on Ebay,I highly recommend Adenium_Ko.I had excellent germination with his seed and not so good with some others.Freshness seems to be the key to good germination.
How to tell the difference?it's easy if you can see them together.There are differences in the caudex between Arabicum and Obesum.Arabicum is cone shaped while Obesum is round.Somalense falls somewhere in between.There are marked differences in the leaves of all three.
I will start a locked thread showing pictures of the differences when I have time.I think I have all 8 or 9 species.
