Guadalajara grows great in Alabama, where you and I are. I have uploaded a photo of Guadalajara in the pot the day I bought it. It is spectacular. Yes, it is an almost 6 inch brilliant red orange double that shines.

I am not sure about how fast Prince of Purple increases. This is my second year with this plant. So far so good. It is a gorgeous grape color.

Bill Norris is an older cultivar, (Kirchoff 1993), but it has heavier substance and a bigger ruffle, like the newer cultivars have. It is one that I will always have in my garden.

Today we had our second bloom of Fire Bird Suite (Trimmer 2008). Oh, my goodness. Talk about something that glows!! It is new to our garden this year and looks like one we will have to keep forever. I think it is even brighter than Outrageous, which quite a few people on this post really love. My Outrageous hasn't bloomed yet this year, for comparison. Love, love this Fire Bird Suite!! There is only one FBS photo posted on ATP, so I will post another photo when it blooms again.

Thanks everyone. I have really enjoyed these Brightest Colored Daylily posts today.
