I think alot of color variation comes from the difference in taking pics in the morning vs afternoon. I know some of my dl would not even be recognizable as the same bloom.
My New Note always stayed really short for me, but so does Primal Scream. It blooms well, but I just have not ever got the kind of height it is registered at.

Alabama Jubilee is also a really bright color.
